Mary Milliken, BA'85

Mary Milliken has left Reuters, a news organization. She was the Los Angeles bureau chief. Previously, she was U.S. foreign policy editor for Reuters in the Washington bureau. (February 2026)

Danny Egler, BA'69

Danny "Dan" Egler died on Jan. 5, 2026, at the age of 78. He was a consultant and press aide for Sen. Bill Brady's campaigns after working as the statehouse bureau chief for Chicago Tribune. Egler also proudly served in the U.S. Army in 1969 until his honorable discharge in 1971. (February 2026)

Sheri Riley, BA'85

Sheri Riley died on Jan. 16, 2026, at the age of 62. She was the marketing manager at KEMBA Indianapolis Credit Union and founded Roman Ink, a marketing and communications firm. She began her career at Bank One Eastern Region and worked to become vice president and director of marketing services. (February 2026)

Gerald Reynolds, BA'75

Gerald Reynolds died on Jan. 26, 2026, at the age of 73. Reynolds co-founded Perennial Pictures Film Corporation and produced award-winning commercials and animated specials, like Garfield and the Mirthworms series.

Joseph Angotti, BS'61, MA'65

Joseph "Joe" Angotti died on Jan. 25, 2026, at the age of 87. He was senior vice president for news at NBC and the chairmanship of the broadcast program at Northwestern University. In 2006, he was inducted to the Indiana Journalism Hall of Fame, and in 2015, he received the Distinguished Alumni Award.

Haley Coomes, BAJ’11

Haley Coomes is a digital content producer for ClickOrlando. Previously, she was producer at WKMG News 6 in Orlando. She specializes in theme parks and lifestyle writing. (February 2026)

Aishah Hasnie, BAJ’06

Aishah Hasnie is anchoring her own block on Fox News Network, "Fox News Live with Aishah Hasnie." Previously, she was a political correspondent in Washington, D.C. for Fox News, and a Fox59 anchor in Indianapolis. (February 2026)

Charlie Ukwu, BA'78

Charlie Okwu published "Money Disorder: ... the cure starts with you," a book that examines the cultural, economic, and human-capital consequences of an excessive fixation on money. (February 2026)

Alyssa Andrews, BA’15

Alyssa Andrews is a meteorologist for Boston's WBZ-TV. Previously, she was a meteorologist for Central Kentucky’s WTVQ 36. (February 2026)

Mackenzie Lionberger, BAJ'25
