Catt Sadler, BAJ’97, is a three-time Emmy-winning journalist with almost 30 years of on-air experience.
Born in Martinsville, Indiana, she graduated from IU’s School of Journalism in 1997 and began her career at Fox 59 immediately after graduation.
She is best known for her work on E! Entertainment, where she spent more than a decade contributing to “E! News,” “E! News Weekend,” “Daily Pop,” and “Live From E!” and hosting various network specials. She covered Hollywood’s biggest red-carpet events, interviewing A-list celebrities throughout awards season and co-hosting the Vanity Fair Oscars Party show for several consecutive years. Sadler has appeared on numerous programs, including “The View,” “The Talk,” and “The Tamron Hall Show.”
After choosing to leave E! over wage inequity and receiving an outpouring of support, she became a prominent voice in the equal pay movement. Since then, she has championed women’s rights through her participation in the LA Women’s March, her speech at the Equal Pay Day rally at New York City Hall, and through her starring roles in campaigns for LUNA Bar, NYDJ Denim, SECRET Deodorant, MM.LaFleur, and Summersalt — all celebrating women leading change and female empowerment.
Her creative career also includes starring in a national Jeep commercial alongside “Saturday Night Live” alumnus Tim Meadows in 2017. But her Hollywood journey began much earlier at age 11 when she appeared as an extra in the film “Hoosiers,” an experience that sparked her lifelong dream of working in entertainment.
Today, she is the host and executive producer of her weekly podcast, “Catt Sadler Now,” with more than 300 episodes recorded to date. The show explores themes of personal growth, health and wellness, and inner and outer beauty through intimate interviews and Sadler’s own reflections.
Through her production company, Love Bug Entertainment, and her growing digital platforms, like her “Substantial” publication on Substack, Sadler continues to foster community and conversation with changemakers, thought leaders, and creatives around wellness, personal growth, beauty, and self-empowerment.
Outside of her professional life, Sadler is passionate about traveling, healthy living, meditation, and cheering on the Indiana Hoosiers and Pacers basketball teams. She has two sons, Austin and Arion, who is a current junior at The Media School. She lives in Calabasas, California, with her partner Greg and his four children.
Sadler is currently writing her first book, a memoir, set to release in 2027.
